Relaxed and informal ....
... Sit at reclaimed elm tables, surrounded by an eclectic mix of memorabilia, original art & an old pair of French doors! ... enjoying food that has been freshly prepared with passion using seasonal, good quality, locally sourced (where possible) ingredients.
The majority of our menu is or can be GlutenFree and we have lots of Vegetarian options, we are also happy to adapt our menu to suit your needs. We have a separate friends & family menu, which is food meant for sharing.
We don't have a separate children's menu, we serve half portions where possible and they can make their own pizza's! We love seeing families but have recently had to introduce a 'no under 7 year olds past 7pm' policy.
Weather permitting our pretty roof garden is perfect for sitting outside and dogs are welcome out there.
We are finding that we have a very high demand for tables during lunch and evening service, therefore we are unable to serve just drinks or 'snacks' ie scones or just starters during these times, if the sofas are free you are more than welcome to have drinks on there.
Katrina & John Lort
ps. its been a bit of a tough year, John eventually had spinal surgery, but it is apparent that he has had to semi retire from the Kitchen and that we have had to reduce our hours for the time being, so we are just open during the day at the moment.
